WALMART PRICEMATCH POLICY

Walmart has updated it's pricematch policy - and it's a GOOD thing! Make sure you check it out (and print it) HERE: WALMART PRICEMATCH POLICY

So here it is, a quick rundown of this weeks deals and steals.

I hope you all got your pepsi coupons before they ran out because this week, wow, what a steal! Pepsi products are on sale at K-Mart for $2.50 a 12 pack making them just $1.50 after the coupon! Now, Walmart does have a policy on these and will only let you buy 4 at a time but there are no rules against going through the line more than once buying 4 each time! Which is what I did - I went through twice and got 8.

2 liter pepsi next are on sale for .99 at Copps and there were .55 cent coupons to print out also. .44 cents for a 2 liter bottle? Yes please.

Kotex U Sleek are on sale again this week for .99. Now, on the boxes at Walmart there are $2.00 off coupons. Yep, look at that again - that makes this a $1.01 money maker. 5 free+ boxes scored last night.

My co-worker/Friend Heidi hooked me up with a couple moneymaker coupons so I was able to score a Playboy bodyspray  ($3.97 - $5.00 coupon), Cherry Vanilla body spray ($2.97 - $3.00 coupon) and Hanes underwear 3 pack for Bella ($3.47 - $2.00 coupon) and so far I'm up money.

Clean and Clear bodywash at Walgreens on sale for $3.00. Coupon: $1.50 (expired yesterday)

So here are some deal and steals for YOU all:

Febreeze Car Air Freshner  $2.97 ($1.00 off coupon in yesterday's paper) These are WONDERFUL by the way. I use these in my cars and LOVE them. I bought 5 more yesterday

Schick Hydro Razor and Shaving cream combo @ Walmart  $5.97   $3.00 coupon

Pillsbury Cake mix @ Schuettes for $.50 each - $1.00 off 2 coupons (got 6 of these ... for FREE)

Lady's speed stick  $1.88 at Angeli's.  B1G1 Free coupon in yesterday's paper

Dawn 9 - 10.3 oz @ cvs for .99   .25 coupon

Aldi's blackberries  .79  (none at Angeli's but if you are going to Aldi's anyway)

6 double rolls of charmin $2.99 @ walgreens (again, don't have 6 pack at Walmart but if you are stopping at Walgreen's anyway)

Aleve 40-50 count @ curry's for $5.69  coupon $2.00

8 ox Crystal Farms cheese (match to walmart store brand) $.49

Whole fryer chickens .69 a pound @ curry's

Capri Sun 10 packs  .99 @ Pig

Imperial margarine quarters  .69 @ Lee's

Hot Dog Buns @ angelis  (match to walmart store brand) $.49

Red Bull 8.3 oz  $1.25 @ copps

Hunts Snack pack @ fest foods  $.68

Bic Flex 3 4 pack razors  $5.00 @ walmart - $3.00 coupon

Colgate smart foam, max white, max clean, maxfresh toothpaste $.50 @ CVS  $.40 coupon

Colgate 360 sonic care toothbrush $3.99 @ CVS  $2.00 coupon

So there you have it. Hope some of these deals and steals catch your eye! Happy coupon shopping, everyone!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

So, I decided to make a quick run to WalMart and do a partial list tonight (mostly the pop I wanted to get) but in the end ended up doing my complete coupon shopping for this week.

SO many great deals out there to be had! I did PHENOMENAL this week. Here are the stats:

RETAIL PRICE:                          $200.00
TOTAL AFTER PRICEMATCH:    $115.00
TOTAL AFTER COUPONS:         $50.00

THAT'S A SAVING OF 75%!

I have to give a huge shout out to my check out Godess, Jillian! Seriously folks, she is PHENOMENAL. Fast, efficient and on the ball. I know she reads here so *WAVE*. You rock, girlfriend. You are a total asset to Walmart!

I'll clue you in tomorrow on some the great steals and deals to be had this week so keep your eyes glued!

It's been a while since I had a haul this good so I'm pretty pleased.

Until tomorrow!

Where my savings really racked up was on things like the razors. I got 4 of the Venue Embrace (that's all they had left) and 6 of the Venus Spa Breeze. That's 10 Razors for a retail price of $65.70 - My cost: $15.70! I save $50.00 on that one transaction alone. I also got 22 packages of the B1G1 free jolly ranchers. Sierra Mist on sale for $.99 with coupons for $0.55 off a 2 liter bottle in this past Sunday's paper making them $0.44 a bottle! The retail on those was $1.65.  I grabbed 9 of those babies! Lastly, the Buddig lunch meat is a great deal also. Each pack makes a sandwich. They are regular price at Walmart for $0.48 (which beats the $0.50 sale price in this weeks ads so no pricematching needed) and I had coupons for $.75 off 4! Meaning I spent $1.25 for 4 of those packages! I had 2 coupons so I got 8 packs for $2.50. Couple that with the loaf of bread I got for $.38 ($1.00 with the purchase of 2 jars of Peter Pan Peanut Butter which is on sale!) and the Miracle Whip I picked up on sale a couple of weeks back for $2.00. Throw in a couple of pickles I got on sale a few weeks back also, and some chips from last weeks sales and you have a lunch for under $3.00! Heck, why not throw in an orange or banana? Still keeps it right around $3.00.

So, there you have it! Get any great steals or deals this week? Did you check out the online coupons available HERE?  Well, what are you waiting for? Get to saving my friend. Would love to hear your experiences. It's never too little, or too much, to share. Every little bit counts!

Please take a moment to click some of the links to right - it costs you nothing and some of them lead to some pretty great coupons and deals. <3

Happy Couponing!

<3 Penny <3

P.S.  I was kind of bummed my Walmart doesn't have my free item I got a coupon for from BZZAGENT. I'll have to check out Angeli's later today.  That would have upped my savings percentage! Darn it! Oh well, keep smiling!

I've got this week all written up and just need to put it up. I'm going to do it a little different this week. Instead of sharing my spreadsheet I'm going to just lay it out for you and see how that goes. Feedback is great. If you prefer the other way let me know and I'll go back to it.

Until tomorrow!

Sunday, April 22, 2012

Good morning, couponers! Hope this Sunday finds you happy, healthy and ready to get your clipping on! I should have a list of deals for you Monday night or Tuesday morning. So get your ideas ready and see how they stack up next to mine! Feel free to share what you come across (I'd like to see some comments showing up here - I get a few on facebook but feel free to share here too!). I know you're reading as I'm averaging 30+ hits a day. Thank you!

Today I want to share a site with you that I've been a part of for about a year now. It's called BZZAGENT. What is it, you ask? Well, it's a site you sign up for, fill out surveys (the first one will take you about 20 minutes because it's very inclusive and gives them a total over view of you and your interests. The follow up ones you will get will take you 3 minutes or less to do - many consist of one question!). From your general interests and facts about you, you then get considered for upcoming "campaigns" they have.

Campaigns are products you can try for FREE. All they ask from you is that you "bzz" about them. How do you bzz? Glad you asked - word of mouth, facebook, twitter, blogs, etc all count as "bzzing". Once you try the product you then submit a review on it. It's really so easy and there's some great products for you to try.

Oh yeah, and these products - they aren't small sample size, they are the REAL full size product. For instance, in the past year I have gotten 3.5 pound bags of dog food and cat food. Right now I am in a campaign where I got 2 coupons for FREE BON APPETIT DINNERS ! I also got 5 coupons for $3.00 off a dinner to share with friends as I spread the word! I also got selected for the CAR MD campaign, TREND MICRO VIRUS PROTECTION campaign, COVERGIRL NATURELUXE FOUNDATION campaign, amongst others.

It's free to sign up and you can reject any campaign you are offered that doesn't interest you. There's nothing to lose and with very little effort you too can try free products in exchange for your honest opinion of them!

I don't remember if they ask how you find them but if you do sign up and they ask for who referred you, make sure you tell them un4gitible sent ya!

Thanks for reading! Have a great Sunday

For those of you wondering exactly what IS WalMarts price match police, you can find it here

One thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to always have a coupon to get a great deal! There are great deals to be had if you just check your ads and remember to price match.

So far I'm at $20.00 in saving from coupons alone! I'll let you know tomorrow how much my total savings is off the retail price.

Happy Couponing! Remember to keep spreading the word and follow my blog if you would. A huge THANK YOU for those of you who have already shared my link with others. <3

FRIDAY THE 13TH - THE PRICE SLAYER

So, my trip this morning was a HUGE success in my opinion. Lets see if you agree!

I head into WalMart armed with my coupon book, my envelope filled with coupons I intended to use today and my lists. After organizing it all in my cart - I'm off!

I get slightly sidetracked down the 50% off Easter aisle but resist temptation and only grab two candy items totaling a whopping $1.00. I may have gone a little wild if it had not been for this blog and knowing you all would be wanting to see my savings totals so - my waist (and cholesterol) thanks you all for the motivation to resist. Haha.

Now to the back of the store where the softsoap 3 pack bar soap is $2.99. I have a $1.00 off coupon so I decide it's worth it!

I continue to the cleaning aisle to check for the scrubbing bubbles products I've been looking for and STILL no brush. Grrrrrrr. This coupon is burning a hole in my coupon book - I love freebies! Especially when the cost of the freebie is more than the item I actually have to pay for (AND I have a coupon for the item I have to pay for - SCORE). Oh well, maybe next week.  Now into the food part of the store. The tubs of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter are totally worth getting when my $1.25 off is factored in. In the cart they go. I make my way through the store, loading up on pop, vitamin water, eggo waffles/french toast/pancakes (which, btw, turns out to be the deal of the day - Their retail price is between $2.38 and $2.62 and I score them for .98 each. My retail total of $15.84 turns into $5.88. But wait, take off the coupons and my grand total for these 6 boxes is ....  $3.73! That's an 87% savings! SCORE). There were a few items on my price match list I couldn't find (The big cans of Hills Brothers Coffee, Kemps chocolate milk and Pillsbury angel food cake mix) but the rest .... in the cart they go.

***TIP: DIVIDE THE ITEMS IN YOUR CART BY PRICEMATCH/NON PRICEMATCH. I PUT THE PRICEMATCH ITEMS TO THE BACK OF THE CART AND THE ITEMS JUST TO BE RUNG AS IN AT THE FRONT. TODAY I USED THREE 12 PACKS OF COKE TO DIVIDE THEM. MAKE SURE YOU GROUP ALL OF EACH ITEM TOGETHER FOR PRICEMATCHING - IT'LL GO MUCH FASTER***

I had a WONDERFUL checker today. She was fast, efficient and very excited for me! I ended up giving her my name so she can find me on facebook and find her way here. I really need to memorize this blog name so I can give it out to people who inquire. I did pull it up on my phone at my chiropractor's office and write it down there so hopefully the two lovely ladies there will be checking this out too.

Now, on to the good stuff. Are you ready for the totals? Ok, here goes

Retail Cost - $171.00
Cost after Pricematching - $108.00

My cost out of pocket after coupons.......... $82.00! That's a savings of  $63.00 from pricematching, $26.00 in coupons savings  a grand total of  $89.00 or a 52%!  I'm pretty happy with that. Ecstatic matter of fact. I've had smaller trips where I've saved 70% or 80% but, honestly, anytime I can save more than 40% (especially on a bigger trip like this - 78 items!) I'm pretty stoked.

So, hope this helped you get started.

Are you ready for week 2? Well get ready because it starts - TOMORROW! LOL Yep, tomorrow I'll be pulling the coupons from the Eagle-Herald, checking the ads for the local  Marinette-Menominee stores and getting some ideas of what I may be looking for this week. Sunday I'll grab a Green Bay paper and a Milwaukee paper, snip and sort the coupons and then check the ads in those papers. After writing stuff down, checking the ads a 2nd and 3rd time and paring down the list, I'll be ready to pull the coupons and put them in the envelope and then sit down and make up my spreadsheet. The good news is, I am off Monday and Tuesday next week so Tuesday will be my coupon shopping day so you all will get the list MUCH earlier next week.

So get ready! Get those papers, get to snipping and HAPPY COUPONING!

Again, feedback is always nice and if you could take the time to subscribe I'd be ever so grateful. I'm getting the hits and page views - now all I need is some subscribers and hopefully a few clicks on my sidebar ads to help me out even more.

THE LIST

Another thing I usually do, to make my shopping more streamlined, is I make a list of all my items and where they are in the store. This really does save me so much time in the store. You will notice there are some items on THE LIST that don't appear on my pricematch list. That's because they aren't on sale anywhere but I have coupons for them and/or need the item NOW so I want to make sure I don't forget them. I've listed the coupons on THE LIST next to these items (which appear bolded) so you can see what kind of deal I'm getting. Some of these won't prove worth it and I'll end up crossing them off. It's worth checking them out, though, so I will.

I also bring my coupon binder with me on my shopping excursions just in case I come across some great clearance items! You never know when an unadvertised deal is going to present itself and you'll find yourself saying "I'VE GOT A COUPON FOR THAT! SCORE!"

So, here it is !

***TOTAL*****

$102.90

$79.96

It's pretty easy to decipher but here's a breakdown. I have my quantity and description of each item (including size which is VERY important. When price matching it needs to be the same as in the ad). Next comes store you are price matching too followed by the price you want to match. I then have in a formula that times my quantity by the price I'll pay to give me the total price for that product. I list any coupons, minus them from the price I'll pay which gives me my net price. Next to that you will see an empty column called  RETAIL PRICE. That I fill in while in the store. I put in what I would have paid had I paid the WalMart price for it. Now, one thing you will need to do is make sure that the WalMart price isn't lower than the price match price, which does sometimes happen. If that happens, don't price match it (duh!) but still note the retail price and cross out your price match price. You should be able to copy and paste it into your word program and print it out for your own use. Or, have fun, create your own using your own template and mine as a guide

So, for this week, my total is $102.90 and after coupons it will be $79.96. After my trip tomorrow I will be able to share what the retail price is and get my total savings.

Now, here's a deal YOU can get in on even if you have no coupons in hand. The coupons for the creamers are ONLINE. You want in? Well here you go!

***TIP - YOU MAY WANT TO CREATE A SEPARATE EMAIL (GMAIL, HOTMAIL, ETC) JUST FOR COUPONING TO MAKE IT EASIER TO KEEP ORGANIZED***

fill out the quick form to sign up and you will get to a page where you can print 2 different coffee mate creamer coupons. 1 is for .55 off 1 the other is for .75 off 2. These are on the list and on sale for .99 (which is already a steal)! You can use the back button and it will let you do 2 of each coupon! SCORE!

DEAN'S DIPS

Sign up and they will send you a coupon to your email for $1.00 off any 2 12 oz or larger dip. Current pricematch price is $1.00 so you get 2 for $1.00 which equals $0.50 each!

HILLS BROTHERS COFFEE

$1.00 OFF COUPON. That makes the can of coffee $4.99 after coupon

The coupons for the Ritz crackerfuls/8 pack of coke are a store pack coupon. What does that mean? You know those coupons that come displayed on the aisle's in a big pack? Yeah, those. It's one to save $1.50 if you buy an 8 pack of coke AND a box of Ritz Crackfuls. I broke it down to .75 each on my spreadsheet to make it easier to calculate. Look for those by the crackfuls! Maybe you'll get lucky (I've had mine, courtesy of my co-worker Heidi, for a couple weeks now so not sure how long they will last at your WalMart either)

I hope some of you have the great Pepsi coupons from a couple of weeks ago. A 2 Liter bottle of Diet Pepsi for $0.45? Now THAT'S a deal! ($1.00 on sale - .55 coupons = $0.45 out your pocket).

I'm off to hunt for some more coupons (see my last blog for some great online printable coupon sites) and who knows - maybe you'll get ANOTHER blog from me tonight with some links to some great coupons you can use this week to get some more steals of your own.

Again, feedback is ALWAYS welcome. Please follow me if you are so inclined and .... clicking on the ads to the right are free for you and help me out tremendously.
